The UK Strip Club team are in stitches reading a couple of blog posts and Twitter posts about the so called Stripper-Gate at Yahoo! Hack Day in Taiwan. For the strip club audiance reading this, a Hack Day is basically an event where computer wiz kids get together and show off their skills in front of the keyboard.

We have linked to a couple of the blogs so you can see all the “offensive” photos and video from the event, however the real story here is the reaction by self proclaimed Geeks, some of the comments are gold, so make sure and read them.
It mostly seems to be US male bloggers that are the most offended, indeed one lady commented that she was more disappointed that no male hotties where dancing for the Female Hack Day attendees, and rightly so, we all about equal flesh for both sexes here at UK Strip Club towers. So to the US readers up in arms, just remember strip clubs in USA is a $5 billion dollar industry and while not to everyone’s taste, what happened here is no more offensive than watching High School the Musical

And here is the Politically Correct reply that so many company’s are forced in to doing these days, what’s wrong, the room was full of a bunch of Geeky guys that probably don’t have girlfriends and I am betting a fair few have not seen a breast since their mothers stop breast feeding them, chill out and have some fun.

P.s. Been to loads of UK and US marketing and seo events where a large group of male (and female) attendees end up at the local lap dancing establishment afterwards! Pot, Kettle, Black me thinks.

You can talk about anything your want including favourite clubs and dancers plus if you are in the industry you can discuss jobs, punters, clubs, bosses and your tools of the trade.
You can even add a few pictures to your free profile to let people know who you are and what you look like! Great for dancers wanting to get in touch with clubs for work, but just as good for punters! Please note that any nude or offensive ones will be removed, and the same goes for your posts.
I dont want to stifle your creativity, just be fair in what you say we cannot approve anything which cannot be substantiated and might even be libelous! Venues seem to bring the opinions out, good and bad. Parting with your hard earned cash means you deserve a say plus you get to tell others where to avoid and where not to miss!!
UK Strip Clubs is becoming fully interactive with our comments system being updated on a daily basis, weekly blogs, our contact form and twice weekly updates on our listings we are asking for your input into this great free resource for the industry in the UK!!!

We have been having loads of people inquiring about advertising on UK Strip Clubs and I thought I would remind everyone what we offer and the prices for these services. We offer advertising both for strip venues, related and businesses and many other types of company.
Enhanced Listings – Strip venues can have an extra listing at the top of the results page (or any results page they choose!) this service costs £40 per month and lets you add a second listing with images, a short text and an eye catching box. Glasgow City Council has banned all adverts on taxis for strip and lap dancing clubs, which is just another step on the way to outlawing clubs like Northern Ireland. The variations in councils across the UK is marked, some allowing nude strips and some OK with ads, as usual it seems that councils suit themselves indulging their own prejudices using their position to bully legal businesses into closing or restricting their operation.
When you read the rest of the story the Deputy leader of Glasgow City Council, Jim Coleman, is also chairman of ‘Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership’ whoever they are, so you can see his objective view of the whole situation. Councilors should be free of affiliation with groups that could prejudice their opinions, should someone who is leader of this group be voting/deciding on legislation on strip clubs. This is another example of an outside interest affecting the performance of a public official, indulging themselves due to their religion or similiar prejudice! Most of the MPs that brought you the lap dancing bill earlier this year were swept away in the expenses scandal so I await Mr Coleman’s scandal with baited breath….
While this is small regional point, it seems as though either the government has given councils/police etc to clamp down on strip clubs without the lap dancing bill being put through parliament or are turning a blind eye to growing prejudice against the industry.
