Club Redd Fire was arson
A New venue in West Sussex called Club Redd was burnt down in a dramatic fire which occupied 100 firemen and dozens of fire appliances in Burgess Hill. Authorities now think that the blaze was started deliberately and are gathering evidence, Police are asking for witnesses to come forward.
Club Redd was opened in a storm of controversy and some of the complaints verged on the threatening and was described by venue owner as ‘vitriolic’.
This is the first instance (any one who can remember a previous situation let us know) of a club deliberately sabotaged. Usually the moral brigade only make noises and use their unconstitutional connections to plot against venues, but now it seems that the Mary Whitehouse Brigade are going militant. What next? Armed police at local council meetings, clubs looking like Fort Knox or strippers needing ‘body’ guards?
Hopefully owner Leo Vallis can get Club Redd opened asap and show these people…it will be interesting to see what the local council do when the ruling on the venue licence comes up.
We cant give into these people, first it will be strip clubs next it will be pubs opening hours and who knows what else untill we are living in the 1970s again and you can only drink for a few hours a day and eveywhere is closed on Sunday! Please comment on this story and let me know what you think!!

Hope they get this club up and running soon! Cant give into these people, I did not have a chance to get there before cos of work commitments…
