The fat cats are back, which of course means that the recession must be over….maybe not but news stories about big bonuses in the city have brought one of the media’s hate figures (the banker, fat cat character in £1,000 suit and a fat wallet to match) have re-emmerged much to their delight. Their favourite haunt was of course Stringfellows or similar lap dancing club, meaning that these clubs (and all the others around the country who have never had a ‘fat cat’ through the doors) have been tainted by association.
Lap dancing clubs appeared more and more under New Labour and we are seeing the backlash on all ideas from the 90s, so it makes sense to through the baby out with the bathwater and close clubs down! It looks like (now abscent MPs) who proposed the new lap dancing legislation will get their way and all venues will need to apply for new licenses in the next year.
Deputy Prime Minister Harriet Harman has accused the Tories of wanting to replace kids health centres with lap dancing clubs (one in every community) which is hypocritical as Labour brought in the current legislation in the first place and only thought to change it when they needed support! Stripping and lap dancing has become a political football to be knocked back and forward, like football violence in the 80s, drugs in the 90s.

The UK Strip Club team are in stitches reading a couple of blog posts and Twitter posts about the so called Stripper-Gate at Yahoo! Hack Day in Taiwan. For the strip club audiance reading this, a Hack Day is basically an event where computer wiz kids get together and show off their skills in front of the keyboard.

We have linked to a couple of the blogs so you can see all the “offensive” photos and video from the event, however the real story here is the reaction by self proclaimed Geeks, some of the comments are gold, so make sure and read them.
It mostly seems to be US male bloggers that are the most offended, indeed one lady commented that she was more disappointed that no male hotties where dancing for the Female Hack Day attendees, and rightly so, we all about equal flesh for both sexes here at UK Strip Club towers. So to the US readers up in arms, just remember strip clubs in USA is a $5 billion dollar industry and while not to everyone’s taste, what happened here is no more offensive than watching High School the Musical

And here is the Politically Correct reply that so many company’s are forced in to doing these days, what’s wrong, the room was full of a bunch of Geeky guys that probably don’t have girlfriends and I am betting a fair few have not seen a breast since their mothers stop breast feeding them, chill out and have some fun.

P.s. Been to loads of UK and US marketing and seo events where a large group of male (and female) attendees end up at the local lap dancing establishment afterwards! Pot, Kettle, Black me thinks.

I dont want to stifle your creativity, just be fair in what you say we cannot approve anything which cannot be substantiated and might even be libelous! Venues seem to bring the opinions out, good and bad. Parting with your hard earned cash means you deserve a say plus you get to tell others where to avoid and where not to miss!!
